Accordingly to evaluation patterns avowed by technicians from the environmental area, 5 growing trees sequester 1 ton of Carbon each year.
The CO2 emission by human beings, which is a result of residential garbage plus the consumption of fossil fuel, emits on the atmosphere, on the average, from 3 to 5 tons of carbon each year.
This means that each person needs to plant, annually, from 15 to 25 trees, considering the levels of consumption of industrialized cities and the using of a motor vehicle.
So, the trees that we have already planted until 2008 will be annually removing tons of carbon out of the atmosphere.
